Il fondatore di Roland
Sabato 1 aprile è morto Ikutaro Kakehashi, ingegnere giapponese che nel 1972 fondò la storica azienda di strumenti musicali Roland. Inoltre, negli anni Settanta contribuì – insieme all’americano Don Lewis – a sviluppare la drum machine Roland TR-808.
Kakehashi fu anche tra i principali sviluppatori del MIDI, e per questo ricevette un technical Grammy nel 2013.
